Carbide milling cutters are generally used in CNC machining centers and CNC engraving machines. They can also be installed on ordinary milling machines to process some relatively hard and uncomplicated heat-treated materials.

1. Carbide cylindrical milling cutter: used for processing planes on horizontal milling machines. The teeth are distributed on the circumference of the milling cutter, and are divided into straight teeth and spiral teeth according to the tooth shape. According to the number of teeth, they are divided into coarse teeth and fine teeth. Spiral tooth coarse tooth milling cutters have fewer teeth, high tooth strength, and large chip space, which are suitable for rough processing; fine tooth milling cutters are suitable for fine processing.

2. Carbide face milling cutter: used for processing planes on vertical milling machines, end milling machines or gantry milling machines. There are teeth on the end face and circumference, and there are also coarse teeth and fine teeth. There are three types of structures: integral type, inlaid tooth type and indexable type.

3. Carbide end milling cutter: used for processing grooves and step surfaces, etc. The teeth are on the circumference and end face, and cannot be fed axially during work. When there are end teeth passing through the center on the end mill, axial feeding is possible.

4. Carbide three-sided milling cutter: used to process various grooves and step surfaces, with teeth on both sides and the circumference.

5. Carbide angle milling cutter: used to mill grooves at a certain angle, there are single-angle and double-angle milling cutters.

6. Carbide saw blade milling cutter: used to process deep grooves and cut off workpieces, with more teeth on the circumference. In order to reduce friction during milling, there are 15′~1° secondary deflection angles on both sides of the teeth. In addition, there are keyway milling cutters, dovetail slot milling cutters, T-slot milling cutters and various forming milling cutters.
